PROMEL’s expertise is used to identify, among the available technologies, the most reliable, functional and competitive. For this, equipment and working tools are kept abreast of technological progress, and Personnel are constantly trained through education and training sessions.
PROMEL Group’s Marketing and Sales Offices are structured to deal with Clients ranging from Multinationals in the energy sectors to sole proprietorships for the handling of money. Medium and large companies can count on PROMEL ‘s expertise and experience in handling administrative formalities, framework contracts and strategic agreements according to even highly articulated policies; small entities are assured of agile and flexible handling of files.
INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION
The multiplicity of areas of interest and the diversification of activities make PROMEL a reality capable of intervening in many stages of industrial processes.
The skills of our Industrial Automation division are enriched by the experience gained on processes as a whole and the proposal of advanced technical solutions, with the aim of making the interaction between man and machine increasingly natural.
PROMEL therefore targets Customers such as chemical industries, petrochemical industries or those related to energy production and transformation, as well as Companies operating in the field of process control, to which PROMEL offers consultancy, services and implementation of complex control systems.
In addition, to reach Customers with specialization needs in the area of Functional Safety, PROMEL provides Certified Automation Engineers for SIL applications.
MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTIONS
Since the year 2000 PROMEL COSTRUZIONI, has developed its capabilities in the field of precision machining, on prototypes, series realizations and assembled groups, even to the Customer’s specifications.
Machining is carried out in temperature-controlled environments and to centesimal tolerances.
Over the years, we have gained considerable experience in small/medium series machining.
The machine shop has the support of the production engineering department and is equipped with CAD/CAM stations to make the most of the 5-axis machines with which the division is equipped.
PROMEL COSTRUZIONI also performs design, construction and assembly of mechanical equipment.
DEFENSE AND SPACE
PROMEL’s defense and space division was created at the end of 2017, to meet a specific request that came from one of our main customers, to manufacture special cables according to military standards.
The department has grown both technically and professionally, thanks in part to the investments PROMEL has made (microscope for solder analysis, instrumentation, special crimpers and soldering stations with fume hoods) and now has qualified operators licensed according to IPC 610 and 620 soldering and crimping standards. In addition to the construction of special cables, the unit has also specialized over the years in the construction and assembly and wiring of electromechanical systems for military applications.
Regarding the space sector, Promel has been working in this area since the early 2000s, designing and manufacturing assembly and lifting equipment for optical apparatus for space use, experimental equipment used on STS flights, on behalf of Officine Galileo first and Leonardo later. Currently PROMEL is collaborating with Officina Stellare in the fabrication of mechanical parts and withINAF Arcetri for the design and fabrication of a prototype NGS Wavefront sensor for the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT).
FIRE AND GAS LEAK DETECTION SYSTEMS
PROMEL ‘s experience as an integrator of fire and gas leak detection systems for the OIL&GAS sector produced the first proprietary Fire Fighting System made with wired logic, SRI301/602, in 1992.
In 2002, the design and implementation of the microprocessor-based FGP04 Fire and Gas Detection system was initiated, with the first unit delivered in 2004.
Today, PROMEL offers its Customers a range of systems adapted to multiple needs, which are distinguished by their compactness, reliability and ease of use. The flexibility of configuration and ease of access make it possible to minimize both system complexity and manpower hours for installation and commissioning, while complying with advanced safety levels and current European Directives.
PROMEL systems, born for the OIL&GAS sector, can be used in RAILWAY APPLICATIONS, both on vehicles and on the ground.
PROMEL can also provide fire control units for buses.
HANDLING OF MONEY
PROMEL is on the market with its line of coin sorting machines, theContaDividi, which over the years has become an important reference for the Gaming of Vending and Retail sectors.

Every coin-counting machine in the LaContaDividi line is designed and manufactured entirely within our own departments.
Our mechanical division manufactures the functional parts with precision machining, while the Additive Manufacturing division takes care of the production of the external components, guaranteeing lightness, strength and the possibility of customization.
A fully integrated process, which enables us to offer clients certified quality, optimized time and design flexibility.
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Our Additive division covers the entire process, from “Design for Additive” to prototype and small series production.
We use the most effective technologies available, such as HP’s Multi Jet Fusion, EOS Selective Laser Sintering, MARKFORGED Continuous Fiber, and STRATASYS Fused Deposition Modeling. Our mechanical designers are trained to get the most out of Additive Manufacturing and achieve machining with advanced techniques and structures resulting in parts that are functional, robust, and produced with maximum efficiency.
