The Sustainability Report 2024 is an important step in the responsible growth path of PROMEL.

Through concrete, measurable, and transparent actions, we promote sustainable development that combines technological innovation, respect for the environment, and valuing people.
The document brings together the results achieved in the two-year period 2023-2024 and defines strategic goals for the future, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

Our ESG priorities

A structured and shared approach

In 2024, PROMEL conducted the first materiality analysis, actively engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify the most relevant ESG issues for the company and the region.

The following were analyzed 19 sustainability issues, of which 7 of high strategic importance, underpinning our Sustainability Plan 2025-2030, which includes. 12 goals and 22 actions concrete.

PEOPLE AT THE CENTER

Human value, security and growth

PROMEL’s success comes from people.

In the 2023-2024 biennium, the 100% of the employees have a permanent contract, and the following have been provided 1,798 hours of training dedicated to technical and personal development.

In 2024, we also introduced the first internal course on ESG issues., strengthening the culture of sustainability and safety – results confirmed by zero accidents at work.

PROMEL considers of primary importance to ensure the psycho-physical health of its employees and is committed to ensuring safe, healthy and comfortable working environments, in compliance with Legislative Decree 81/2008 and ss.mm.ii., and all current health and safety regulations. Through the adoption of voluntary standards and models such as ISO 45001, Promel implements measures on a daily basis that ensure the safeguarding of workers’ health and safety; this aspect is a key element in ensuring the company’s continuous growth and high levels of performance, ultimately also considering the implications in terms of service and product quality. Promel, therefore, is committed to ensuring the continuous improvement of its safety policies for the protection of workers’ health, in accordance with the provisions of shared regulations and its Code of Ethics.

ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY

Efficiency, clean energy and zero waste
In 2024, thanks to the photovoltaic system installed at our sites, we self-produced 35.81 MWh of renewable energy, reducing emissions and improving our carbon footprint, amounting to 50.19 tCO₂eq for PROMEL Ltd. e 63.99 tCO₂eq for PROMEL Construction..

Our commitment to environmental sustainability also includes waste reduction – -11,73% e -35,45% compared to 2023 – and the 100% recycling of special waste.
These achievements are supported by the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. obtained in 2023.

GROWTH AND INNOVATION

Sustainable, future-oriented growth
In 2024, PROMEL consolidated its position in the automation and precision engineering industry, with growth of +22% in turnover for PROMEL Srl e +0.6% for PROMEL Construction.

This achievement testifies to the soundness of the company’s industrial model and its ability to innovate responsibly, creating lasting value for customers, employees and the territory.
