We entirely designed and manufactured, on behalf of one of our clients, equipment that tests the pointing accuracy of electro-optical systems and optical devices using various types of sensors for vision, surveillance, and pointing!We fully developed the mechanics, electronics and control software.The equipment consists of a diabase table with 2-micron flatness on which rests the azimuth table that can rotate 360° to which the apparatus being verified is fixed; while the column (also in diabase), supports a rotating elevation table, on which is fixed a steel arm, capable of rotating for an angle greater than 100°, which supports an autocollimator, equipped with a CCD camera, which allows to verify the accuracy of the position declared by the apparatus to be verified, in azimuth and elevation with respect to the interface plane.Precision and reliability have always been our hallmarks and are the basic know-how put into the making of this equipment!
