SafeBusiness Visitors

All spaces at the fair have been redesigned within the #safebusiness by IEG project to ensure that every stage of participation in the event is carried out safely for all operators.

1. Mobility to get to the fair.

1.1 TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Italian Exhibition Group will analyze with the operator of the public or private transport service (Mobility Agency – Taxi – Private Carriers) the maximum capacity of the vehicles and consequently will work in order to size the service so as to ensure smooth and safe transportation.

2. Methods of access.

2.1 ENTRANCE DURING THE EVENT DAYS

Prior to the event, the maximum allowable crowding given by the relationship between the total area used for the event and the parameters identified to ensure interpersonal spacing is defined. For access to the event, it will be mandatory to present oneself with a Green Pass or negative report of molecular or rapid antigenic test performed within the last 48 hours. Prior to access, a Green Pass check will be carried out using the Ministry’s VerifyC19 application, which can read both electronic and paper Green Passes, as well as a temperature check (access with a body temperature above 37.5°C will not be allowed). Inside at the turnstiles, the validity of the green pass will be checked, which allows for both monitoring the actual presence of participants within the district and tracking attendance in the district. An attendance record will be kept for a duration of 14 days. Italian Exhibition Group will set up a rapid antigen testing service outside the fairgrounds at a cost of 15 euros. This service will be active from the day before the start of the event. It should be noted that the use of the mask will have to be protracted for the entire period of stay inside the fairgrounds.
In order to organize flows and avoid assemblages, the electronic ticketing system will be implemented so that visitors can communicate their entry forecast by day and time slot. This data will be used by the organizer to correctly size the access systems, at the busiest times.
Where possible, separate entry and exit routes will be favored. Spaces will be organized to ensure access in an orderly manner and in order to avoid assemblages and ensure that at least 1 meter of interpersonal spacing is maintained. In entrance lobbies and outdoor spaces in front, appropriate graphics will be placed on the ground and control staff provided to facilitate compliance with spacing.
An ad hoc Sanitary Garrison is in place to ensure professionalism and very fast response time if suspected cases are detected; in addition, a fully compartmentalized “quarantine” room has been provided within the Quarter for use in case of need.

3. Conduct of the event

3.1 BEHAVIOR INSIDE THE FAIRGROUNDS

Adequate information on prevention measures is prepared within the neighborhood through signage, audio and video messages, and through the presence of trained personnel to monitor proper conduct and promote proper behavior.
Numerous sanitizing gel dispensing points are set up: before and after access areas, at common areas, dining areas, convention halls, restrooms, etc…
Ground signs are located in waiting areas to facilitate social distancing.
Duly trained service staff at the entrances regulate flows and facilitate social distancing.
All front desk stations are equipped with physical barriers (e.g., Plexiglas shielding).
At wardrobe stations, clothing and items are stored in special garment bags.
Along the aisles of the exhibition areas, the transit of visitors is completely free; however, an anti-crowding service is provided to facilitate the smooth flow of the routes.

3.2 GUARANTEED SOCIAL SPACING IN WARDS AND PAVILIONS

The lanes were sized to ensure social spacing.

3.3 CLEANING AND SANITIZING ACTIVITIES OF FAIRGROUNDS

The entire facility undergoes complete sanitization before the start of the event. During the event, continuous disinfection of public contact surfaces (toilets, doors, fixtures, handles, handrails, seating, etc…) is carried out with certified products that guarantee their cleanliness and complete sanitization (Sodium Hypochlorite, Ethanol, Hydrogen Peroxide).
The facility’s air conditioning system undergoes complete sanitization before the start of the event. The system operates exclusively with total air exchange, i.e., by introducing only clean outside air. Indoor air, taken back for regular air exchange, is totally exhausted to the outside. Where climatically possible, this exchange will also be amplified through the opening of doors, windows and skylights.
Air extraction is kept in constant operation in the toilet rooms. Cleaning and sanitation schedules are displayed inside the toilet rooms.

3.4 SPACING AND SANITATION IN CONFERENCE ROOMS AND EVENT AREAS

Based on the width of individual seats and inter-row spacing (distance between backs), a layout using alternating and staggered seats per row is adopted to meet the minimum distance of 1 m.
Regular cleaning and disinfection of rooms is ensured, also repeated at the end of each activity of a user group.
It is a reminder that everyone present should wear a mask.

4. Catering

4.1 FAIRGROUND FOOD SERVICE

Within the food court, tables are arranged in such a way as to ensure social spacing of people seated at the same table. All material used for Lunch Boxes and Coffee Boxes is made of compostable disposable material.

4.2 STAFF AND PREMISES OF THE FAIRGROUND FOOD SERVICE DEPARTMENT

All personnel, always wearing masks, undergo a body temperature check before any access to preparation areas. Products follow a storage and handling process in accordance with HACCP regulations. Processing spaces have been reviewed to ensure proper safety distances between operators while respecting the preparation cycle.

Periodic sanitization of kitchens, warehouses, laboratories, vehicles and equipment using Hydrogen Peroxide and other products approved by the National Institute of Health is also scheduled.

For contact surfaces such as tables and chairs, continuous cleaning and sanitizing will be carried out.
